The 16mm test tube rack is perfect for holding queen ants and founding colonies in a safe and compact way. Each rack hold 12 test tubes 16mm or smaller. Racks can be joined using the simple peg and hole system built into the design, to a recomended maximum of 4 units high creating 48 compartment rack. Ease of assembly was kept in mind with this design, each rack contains only 6 pieces, 2 plates for the test tubes to be inserted into and 4 support poles that easily slide into holes in the main plates, precisely sized to ensure there is no risk of them slipping out but still remaining easy to put together.
